Tony Hawks
Tony Hawks was born in Brighton in 1960 and was educated at Brighton Hove and Sussex Grammer School. Hawks is well known as he is a TV and radio comedian and bestselling author. He has written many bestseller books include his first "Round Ireland with a Fridge". Hawks got his first brush of fame soon after the release of "Round Ireland with a Fridge" as it was serialised on BBC Radio 4 and led to a six month TV advertising campaign for HARP Irish Lagaer. Hawk enjoys writing, stand-up comedy and featuring on TV shows.
Tony Hawks is a regular guest on radio programmes including The News Quiz, Just a Minute, and I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue, and recently he presented his own series on Radio 4, Tony Hawks' Lost Weekends.
