A spin off of the mildly successful My Restaurant Rules, My Kitchen Rules has rocketed to the top of the Australian TV ratings. The show is hosted by Pete Evans and Manu Feildel, who have legions of adoring female fans across the country.
After trying out as a circus performer as a teenager in his native France, Manu gave in to the family tradition and trained as a chef. He moved to Australia in 1999 and has been a part of several of the finest restaurants in the country as both chef and part owner.
Pete Evans was born in Melbourne in 1973 and grew up on the Gold Coast, where he developed a lifelong passion for fishing and surfing. Pete recently released his fourth book entitled My Party: Canapés and Cocktails, which features delicious party and matching drink recipes. In 2010, he also launched his signature pizza maker with Breville and a range of sauces exclusive to David Jones as well as becoming an Ambassador of Jacob’s Creek Reserve.
