May Grover is having one of those days. Everyone is mad at her. First she wakes up Jasmine's baby sister, Sophie. Then she lets a greyhound puppy out of his pen, and Doc Tock has to chase him all over the yard. Finally she breaks the heel on one of Mrs Grover's favourite shoes. May doesn't mean to do anything wrong, but she can't do anything right.
When she goes riding with her friend Joey Dutton and his father, May is determined not to make any more mistakes, but everything still goes wrong! Now May's family and friends think she has run away from home. Will May be able to straighten it all out?
