One day Jane was a comedy scriptwriter with a successful career in British television and bright hopes for her future in Hollywood. Dodging trustafarians on holiday and the Ebola virus, Jane went on to discover a massive war crime involving hundreds of kidnapped children and revealed it on her heroine Kate Adie's radio programme. Jane never quite got her man but she did regain her self-respect, becoming a Useful Person, briefly at least.
