About the Author: Kim McCosker & Rachael Bermingham

Kim was born in Stanthorpe and was a successful financial planner before deciding to work from home after her second child. Rachael has run several of her own businesses, opening her first, a hair salon, when just 19.
It was over a couple a glasses of red wine that Rachael's insistence that they act upon Kim's idea that led to the phenomenon that has become 4 Ingredients. Their passion and persistence led to the original 4 Ingredients book to become the biggest selling book in Australia in 2008. They originally printed 2000 copies and were called 'overly optimistic' but the quality of both the women and their product shone through.
They have also produced a television version of 4 Ingredients for the Lifestyle channel, applications for mobile devices and a range of cookware.
