It's not the most literary written book. It's not exactly a brain buster. But I could seriously not put this book down! It's like a guilty indulgence into the naughty and hush-hush world of professional football players and their stunning yet imperfect wives and girlfriends. They're real women with real feelings, and when the boys play the girls will have their cake, and eat it too. This book focuses on Angel and her marriage to star footballer Drew. Angel knows the cracks in her seemingly wonderful marriage are beginning to take their toll, but for the sake of her gorgeous son Charlie, she persists in trying to make her marriage work. Meanwhile Drew seems to have other plans, and in one tragic night Drew's lies and Angel's suspicions collide in a tragic accident that will change them all. If you loved the show footballers wives or you just need a deviously sinful and slightly trashy read, this is the book for you. Thoroughly recommended to be enjoyed with wickedly delicious chocolate and a glass of red wine
