Julie also includes recipes she created on MasterChef - such as her now famous lemon diva cupcakes and her passionfruit 'puddle' pie.

The final section of the book is Julie's favourite: a beautifully designed 'blank' chapter with pages for the reader's own photos, clippings and hand-me-down handwritten recipes from family and friends.

About the Author: Julie Goodwin

Julie Goodwin was the first winner of MasterChef Australia (2009). She runs her own IT company, but admits that her family of husband Michael and her three boys are the centre of her life. A fan of Nigella Lawson, Julie cooks in the same way and loves big flavours. "I love the way Nigella talks about food, you can really feel the love for it, and I love that. I am obsessed with watching food shows on the TV. My poor husband doesn't get to watch anything but I've learned so much from them." A person who loves to cook for those around her, Julie's desire to bring people together has influenced her style of cooking.

Fantastic cookbook with simple dishes as well as a few more detailed dishes, I will definitely be writing in the blank section for my children to have my dishes and dishes of my parents to have for years to come. Well done Julie!!!
