Reviews of The Digital Photography Handbook by Doug Harmon
Beginners Choice Reviewed by Anonymous, 11/02/2012
This particular photography book is extremely helpful for beginners that need to know the basics of photography. This book goes in depth on subjects like what camera to use and what Photoshop to buy as well as the main points of photography such as aperture, shutter speed and ISO, as well as delving into subjects like 'the rule of thirds', composition and contrast. Overall this book is 'the best' book I have seen for your casual 'happy snapper' through to beginner photographers but is not very helpful if you already know all of the basics. Great for teaching someone how to use their single lens reflex cameras.
