Blinky Bill, mischievous little koala, has been a favourite with children since he made his first appearance in 1933 in 'Blinky Bill, The Quaint Little Australian'. Blinky's shenanigans at Miss Pym's shop and in Farmer Smifkins' vegie patch quickly earnt him a devoted following who eagerly awaited more of his exploits. 'Blinky Bill Grows Up' and 'Blinky Bill And Nutsy, Two Little Australians' published in 1934 and 1937 respectively, were thus immediately successful and were combined in 1939. Since then the stories have never been out of print and have never lost their popularity.
This deluxe classic edition includes eight new colour plates especially prepared in period style by Louis Silvestro, together with Dorothy Wall's own charming line illustrations. It is an edition made to endure and be enjoyed by the next generations of young Australians, and, indeed, anyone with a sense of fun.
