The rugged west coast of Ireland seems like the perfect place for a holiday. The only snag for Colin and Prill is that they have to go with their weedy cousin, Oliver. But their brilliant holiday never happens. It's stiflingly hot, and there's a really foul smell around - a smell of death and decay. Prill starts to have terrifying dreams, and Baby Alison becomes desperately ill.
Colin and Prill are hot, sick and confused. It is only Oliver, that irritating little wimp who looks as if he knows what is going on. But even he doesn't know everything . . .
