What if love were a disease? There was a time when love was the most important thing in the world. People would go to the end of the earth to find it. They would tell lies for it. Even kill for it.Then, at last, they found the cure. Now, everything is different. Scientists are able to eradicate love, and the government demands that all citizens receive the cure upon turning eighteen. Lena Haloway has always looked forward to the day when she'll be cured. A life without love is a life without pain: safe, measured, predictable, and happy. But then, with only ninety-five days left until her treatment, Lena does the unthinkable.

Delirium
Love is bad, being emotionless is good. In a futuristic world where there is a serum that takes away your emotions and for Lena that was a good thing, until she met Alex. It’s a classic tale of forbid love but with a different out take. She pretends around her family to be excited for the cure but every day it ticks closer the more she realises she doesn’t want to lose it. Delirium by Lauren Oliver is an epic fight for what you believe in and never giving up on your dreams. Reviewed by 35ta

Delirium
I loved this book. It brought forth great concepts and ideas it was very thought-provoking brilliantly written had great character development made me fall in love with the characters made me laugh made me cry and made me realise just how much I take for granted. - It was just a beautiful story. Not to mention, it left on a HUGE cliff hanger which, as much as I hate reading them, I love them too. Reviewed by Melissa Finger
