The Aston Martin DB5 is a British luxury car made by Aston Martin and designed by the Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera. First released in 1963, the DB5 is the best-known cinematic James Bond car, first appearing in the James Bond film Goldfinger.
Since the film, the DB5 has become closely associated with the James Bond franchise and is considered to be the quintessential vehicle of the character, reappearing in subsequent films over the years.
