Perry Stuart, TV meteorologist, is more accustomed to predicting showers and sunshine than giant hurricanes. His life is calm and orderly and he has never experienced physical baptism by storm. Until, that is, a fellow forecaster offers him a Caribbean hurricane-chasing ride in a small aeroplane as a holiday diversion. By terrifying accident, Stuart learns more secrets from the flight than just wind speeds, and back home in England he faces threats as deadly as even nature could evolve.
