Collecting rubbish along the beach is Timothy Taylor's favourite past time. The beach is his territory. In fact, the beach is his home. He has a handful of belongings and he scavenges the beach for treasure and to keep it clean. But not everyone likes a scavenger and a push to move Timothy off the beach presents new troubles for the community. Only the efforts of a child can make the people of the town see the value of Timothy, the value of another human being. And only a child can make them see all the beauty and treasure that the beach has to offer and what will happen to the beach should Timothy be gone forever
