The acclaimed first crime novel by J.K. Rowling, writing under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith.

When a troubled model falls to her death from a snow-covered Mayfair balcony, it is assumed that she has committed suicide. However, her brother has his doubts, and calls in private investigator Cormoran Strike to look into the case.

Strike is a war veteran - wounded both physically and psychologically - and his life is in disarray. The case gives him a financial lifeline, but it comes at a personal cost: the more he delves into the young model's complex world, the darker things get - and the closer he gets to terrible danger. . .

A gripping, elegant mystery steeped in the atmosphere of London - from the hushed streets of Mayfair to the backstreet pubs of the East End to the bustle of Soho - THE CUCKOO'S CALLING is a remarkable book. Introducing Cormoran Strike, this is the acclaimed first crime novel by J.K. Rowling, writing under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith.

Is The Cuckoo Really Calling Part 2
The cuckoos calling in my personal opinion is one of the better written adult fiction books I have read in a long time, actually a better written book period. Comoran Strike a private investigator finds himself hired by John Bristow to find out what happened to his famous sister Lula Landry. With the agonizing background of knowing Johns dead brother Charlie, Comoran finds himself with a new tempt assistant named Robin Venetia Ellacott who helps him through this case more than he could imagine. You have mystery, murder, back stabbing, love, heart ache and out right conspiracy, this book has everything, I would recommend it to anyone who had an opened mind and closed ears. I cant wait to read the next installment the Silk Worm no matter what others have to say. As reviewed by R.A Sweeney

Is The Cuckoo Really Calling Part 1
I couldn't wait to open the pages of this book that I had been waiting for what seemed like forever to read. Having read J. k Rowlings Harry Potter series and the Current Vacancy I couldn't wait for this new novel to come out. As soon as this book was released the rumors started to spread. Beside the fact that everyone now knows that Robert Galbraith was actually J.K Rowling people now commented about how she should be giving other writers a chance, but really whats stopping these other writers We could all give evidence that the most popular book list for 2014 mostly consists of versions of the Frozen movie or Divergent series, shouldn't these suppressed writers have stopped this from happening As reviewed by R.A Sweeney
