Assassin's Blade
We were always given a glimpse into the life of Celaena Sardothien in the series of Throne of Glass but never fully understood what she went through or how serious and complicated her relationship with Sam was or the twisted nature of Arobynn. It was in the Dead Islands Celaena found herself working with Sam to set about a course of actions that is dear to her heart and her instinct in protecting the weak and vulnerable. It caused a chain of events that sent her to train with the Mute Master, though there were more complications then that. She made friends against her better judgement and found herself beginning to relax and enjoy there company. But it seems Celaena could not find a break there either and soon was sent back home to take control of her life and make some radical decisions that sent her down the path that we have read and come to love. Her intelligence and background have been shed before us to reveal her motives and ideas.
