One of the greatest challenges that gay men face today is deciding whether they want to be in a long-term committed relationship, and then learning how to make it work and last.
Dr Kantor busts the myths that exist in the gay community about what long relationships are expected to be like and the myth that for gay men, long term committed relationships aren't really possible. He gives gay men a model for successful relationships, strategies for starting out on the right foot, and what to do about some of the typical problems that gay couples face.
Dr. Martin Kantor holds a Ph.D. in psychology as well as an M.D. He is a psychiatrist practicing in New Jersey and New York City, specializing in gay men's issues.
