Part memoir, part stand-up, part exorcism, Yes Please is a wise, hilarious and candid collection of stories, ideas, mantras, confessions, haikus, and words-to-live-by drawn from the real life (and alternate realities) of acclaimed actress, writer, comedian and mother of two, Amy Poehler. Yes Please finds Amy riffing on sex, love, birth, marriage, divorce, family, friendship, motherhood, plastic surgery, life as an acting double for Meryl Streep and the joys of having a 'face for wigs'.
Amy Poehler is an eight-time Emmy nominee, two-time Golden Globes host (with 'life partner' Tina Fey) and one the most beloved entertainers in the world thanks to nine years on Saturday Night Live, an ongoing role as creator/star of the Parks & Recreation and star turns in films Blades of Glory and Baby Mama. In 2011, Amy was named one of TIME's Most Influential People in the World. She lives in New York and Los Angeles with her two sons. Yes Please is her first book.

Amy Poehler gives a refreshingly hilarious memoir which literally makes you laugh aloud.
She gives us an insight on her career thus far, her incredibly tight friendship with Tina Fey and general life advice. If there is one thing to get out of this book is that you shouldn't take life too seriously.
After reading numerous memoir's I finally found one that kept me entertained and wanting to read more. Renae
