The victim of a rare cosmetic condition that saw her wrongly registered and brought up as a boy, Lady Colin Campbell knows what it is to suffer, survive and ultimately succeed in life. Brought up in an aristocratic family in Jamaica, she enjoyed privileges, but her teenage years were blighted, leaving her unable to receive essential medical treatment until the age of twenty-one. She then became a model, a designer and married Lord Colin Campbell in the 1970s in a short and violent marriage.
