Art doesn’t have to be complicated. When it comes down to it, all anyone needs is a few tools, some good instructions from an experienced artist and some blank pages on which to begin.

Here we’ve created a beginner’s guide to drawing, featuring artist Gale Dickinson’s top tips and tricks to take the guess-work out of where to start and what to draw first, to help make time spent drawing relaxing, creative and pleasurable. Set up as a user-friendly pad with directions on one side of the page and room to draw on the other, and includes pencils, tortillions, a sharpener and eraser!
