Tyson Luke Fury, born on 12th August 1988, Wythenshawe, Manchester, England, UK, is a professional boxer. Fury won the unified WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO, Ring magazine and lineal heavyweight titles during 2015, by defeating long-reigning champion Wladimir Klitschko. The victory led to Tyson being named Fighter of the Year and given the Upset of the Year award by The Ring magazine. Fury was ranked as the world's 6th best active boxer, pound for pound by BoxRec in August 2016.
