Elizabeth Kostova is the acclaimed author of the "Swan Thieves" and "The Historian". Born and raised in Tennesee, she graduated from Yale and holds an MFA from the University of Michigan. It was during her studies at the University of Michigan that she won the Hopwood Award for the Novel-In-Progress.
