Werewolves are running rampant through almost every major city and the entire country is in a state of emergency. Soon, the attacks spread throughout the world as the Full Bloods put their deadliest plan into motion. Empowered by the Breaking Moon, several Full Bloods are able to shift the tide of battle by changing humans into Half Breeds with nothing more than a thought. Cole and Paige have been working with the IRD, but soon realize a different kind of help is needed to fight such a large problem. They go to a splinter group of Skinners known as The Vigilant, but discover they are more concerned with gaining control of the power flowing through the supernatural creatures than in quieting things down. So, Cole and Paige turn to another group of hunters: the Amriany. Hoping to combine ancient Skinner and Amriany techniques, they must go back to the roots of both groups if they are to stop the Full Bloods before the werewolves can eliminate the largest group of creatures drawing from the energy that feeds them: humanity.
