- Donations
QBD Books receives donation requests from a large number of organisations and individuals, however the team is still happy to receive inquiries from new events or organisations.
To inquire about possible donations, please reach out to the team at donations@qbd.com.au with your full name, your address or closest QBD Books store location.
Please also provide any flyer or information you can with details for the event or organisation you are reaching out about.
- eBooks
As of August 8th 2017 QBD Books no longer sell or support Copia eBooks or the eReader app.
All eBook titles have been removed from our website and can no longer be purchased.
If you have previously purchased eBooks from us, these will still be available for you to view in the eReader application.
This is now supported by Copia directly. If you are experiencing a technical issue with your eBook, you can contact them via their support portal here.

QBD advertises all vacant positions through our employment provider, Seek.
Given the volume of enquiries we receive about employment, it's very difficult for our customer service team to respond to individual requests. Your enquiry must be relative to a current Seek application for us to be able to provide assistance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you email me your vacancies?
Our positions are advertised on Seek and our Careers Portal. You can use your account on Seek to set up a watch list which will email our vacancies to you automatically. Our customer service team cannot email you information about upcoming job vacancies.
Why are there no jobs advertised for the specific store I am interested in?
If you are unable to find a listing for a store that you would prefer to work at on the Seek job network, then we may not have any positions currently available.
Our staff turnover is relatively low, and some stores rarely have vacancies. If you wish to be notified if a position becomes vacant please setup a watch list on Seek. We also recommend you enquire in store about future job openings to see if they are expecting to hire soon.
Can I contact QBD through your email address or contact form regarding employment?
Yes, if it's relevant to a current application with Seek, our customer service team can pass your information along to the appropriate person conducting interviews. All other enquiries in regards to employment should be made through avenues specified by our Seek job ads.

QBD Books does not purchase independently published books.
We ask that you not approach our store staff regarding the sale of products in store at this time.
We are a mass market bookseller and only purchase titles available from major Australian Distributors that we have an account with.
