Highlights on reinsurance history is a book developed by economic historians specialized in reinsurance. The authors are experts from several European countries: France, Germany, Russia, Spain and Sweden and another from the Far East, from Japan. They do expose in a clear, easy and understandable way some aspects of the history of reinsurance in their countries or in several countries of one of the most globalize activities in economics field that does exits. Despite it is one of the main pilar in the insurance industry, reinsurance is not well known by the general public nor by historians who have had little written about this main topic until today.
