Interior Design in Latin America is an opulent volume of images and readings that for the first time focuses on Latin America's broad, deeply rooted and at the same time highly topical understanding of design. Focusing on private residences, intercultural influences and craftsmanship excellence, the book offers both aesthetic inspiration and cultural-historical depth. Through a combination of photo reports, interviews, historical contextualisation and material studies, Interior Design in Latin America is presented as an independent, multifaceted design world-from rural colonial houses to urban architect lofts. Text in English and Spanish. AUTHOR: Ana Elena Mallet is one of Mexico's leading curators specialised in modern and contemporary Latin American design.
