The poems in Look Both Way give voice to how I have experienced and been touched by events in the world. The poems are eclectic in genre and style. They describe moments that have shaped how I see the world and how I wish to live. Some poems, not all, are autobiographical. Others were created as a way to communicate a state of being or the impact of an event that has happened in the world. That said, once a poet shares a poem with another, the poem becomes unshackled from their intention and becomes whatever the person reading or hearing the poem makes of it.
