Bonnie McEneany, who lost her husband Eamon on September 11th, was surprised but comforted to realise that her relationship with Eamon had not ended with his death. In subtle but unmistakable ways, Eamon was still communicating with Bonnie, sending her signs that he was all right and that he wanted her to be happy. Eamon's continued presence in Bonnie's life challenged her lifelong skepticism about the possibility of unexplainable occurrences and sparked her curiosity in the paranormal.
As McEneany developed friendships with a number of individuals and families who had lost loved ones on September 11th, she discovered that they too were having unusual experiences. In MESSAGES, McEneaney carefully chronicles these experiences -- among them premonitions, signs, dreams, visitations, and communication through mediums -- while weaving her own clear message into the book: love (of any kind) transcends death and continues after death.
