face=Calibri>- presents the finds from the Greek-American excavation of a Late Bronze Age town that was carried out between 1989 and 2012 on the island of Mochlos in northeastern Crete. Its focus is the House of the Metal Merchant, the best preserved of the buildings in the excavation, where two large bronze hoards were discovered in 1993 and 2004.
The books also describe the Neopalatial town plan and 13 other structures in the settlement, including two from the 1908 excavation, as travelers would come upon them when they entered the town in the Late Minoan IB period. It leads the reader on the route one might take on the two roads that ran through the settlement

The structures include seven ordinary houses, a hostel, two shrines and their adjacent service buildings, and one storage facility.
