Picking up from the enormously successful 'The Saddle Club' series, 'Pine Hollow' continues following the lives of best friends Stevie, Carole and Lisa. A little older, the girls are facing a new set of challenges, but their friendship and love of horses only grows stronger.
Carole is obsessed with Samson, a Pine Hollow horse. She's neglecting her own horse, her schoolwork and her friends. Ben Marlow is really worried, but no one else seems to notice. Anyway, Carole and Lisa had a huge fight and aren't speaking, so Lisa won't help. Stevie doesn't want to get caught in the middle, but she misses the days when nothing could separate the three girls.
And Stevie has problems of her own. Phil, her boyfriend, is worried about AJ, his best buddy. AJ's been acting really weird, and his friends are afraid something may be seriously wrong. In fact, AJ has learned a secret from the past that threatens his future, and Stevie and Phil are going to have to help him face it.
Still more surprises lie ahead. Surprises that will threaten old relationships and put new ones to the test. One thing's clear: Shying away from a problem isn't the answer.
