January is the cruelest month, at least for The Saddle Club. The weather is miserable; cold and rainy. No one can go riding outside, and everyone is sick and tired of staying inside. The only things left to do are clean tack, groom horses, and ride around the indoor ring.
The Saddle Club is bored - bored with riding and even with their horses. So Stevie is spending her free time making cookies, until a crazy bet with her brother gets her into trouble. Not it's up to Lisa to help Stevie get out of the kitchen and into shape. Carole has her own problem. When she gets a chance to ride a show horse, she starts to think it might be time to sell Starlight. Is The Saddle Club about to untack for good?
