Third Eye Open' is a poetry book in it's purest form. Not being content with entertaining the reader, this offering from Rakin Niass transverse many genres and many realities to offer us an insight into being an intersectional Muslim. Although Intersectionality is a term often reserved for the narratives of women, 'Third Eye Open' reminds us why stories and experiences of masculinity, race and religion should not be side-lined and are more relevant now than they ever have been.
