Ken Robinson argues that organisations everywhere are trying to fix a problem that originates in schools and universities: "It is often said that education and training are the keys to the future. They are, but a key can be turned in two directions. Turn it one way and you lock resources away, even from those they belong to. Turn it the other way and you release resources and give people back to themselves. To realize our true creative potentialeacr;in our organizations, in our schools and in our communities?we need to think differently about ourselves and to act differently towards each other. We must learn to be creative."

An in-depth book on the problems of the Education System and how Creativity is the Cure
As someone who actively watches Ken's online talks/lectures, I decided to read one of his books. I'm glad I did. This book dives deep into the history of education, how it's outdated and mostly built around industrialism. It discusses how schools kill creativity from a young age, all the way until students graduate. Most importantly however, it effectively states why creativity is the cure for the future and how it needs to be prioritised not only for economical reasons, but also for personal/mental well-being. RIP Ken.
