In 2009, Lori Deschene founded TinyBuddha.com, a supportive online community for anyone who feels lost, stuck, or disconnected as a place to gain insight into healing, letting go, and living a happy, connected life. Having formerly struggled with depression, self-loathing, and isolation, through Tiny Buddha she helps people feel less alone with their struggles and more empowered to overcome them.
Today, Lori has established a loyal, engaged community with close to 1,000 blog contributors, more than 20,000 forum members, and over three million monthly readers, not to mention the large social media following. She also is the author of two books, Tiny Buddha: Simple Wisdom for Life's Hard Questions and Tiny Buddha's Guide to Loving Yourself.
Tiny Buddha's 365 Tiny Love Challenges is a short, simple guide to help readers improve their relationships and their lives. Each week opens with an inspirational article written by members of the Tiny Buddha community, followed by seven days of short, simple challenges.
Each day's challenge includes two to four questions to help readers plan how to complete the love challenges and space to reflect or report on their progress. The challenges will focus on self-love, giving and receiving love in relationships, and spreading love in the world. By using the book throughout the year, readers will learn to develop closer bonds in relationships, let go of anger and bitterness, better understand their loved ones, and turn strangers into friends.
