For Fans of TFIOS
This is a little like The Fault in Our Stars by teen whisperer John Green, but at the same time not at all similar. About the only thing that is the same is that it has a boy and a girl with cancer. The love story is not the main element of the story, it's set in Western Australia and Aj Betts is one of the best new writers to be published in Australia in recent years. This is a story about breaking down, building yourself back up, having and losing hope and putting others first. A beautiful story and one of the only to have ever made this cold heart break and leave me a blubbering mess in the middle of the night. Read this book, and you will not regret it.
