A young man, brave in battle and a leader in the buffalo hunt, is too shy to speak to the woman he loves. Sad and lonely, he wanders far into the woods. There, he meets two Elk men. They give him a flute that the birds and animals have made for him. When he plays it, the harmony of nature is in his melodies and he speaks straight to the heart of the girl he loves.
