Kanako Wakabayashi is an artist and illustrator who creates the gentle world of fairytales and fantasy, using a variety of materials. Her inspiration comes from nature, the spirits inhabiting it, and also her imagination and dreams. Kanako holds an MA in Children's Book Illustration from the Cambridge School of Art, Anglia Ruskin University, U.K., and her work has also been widely exhibited in her home country, Japan.
