When 17-year-old Sonia Feldman's best friend, Gretchen Meyer, is found murdered at the bottom of a waterfall, her recent ex and Sonia's one-time enemy, Marcus Perez, is the most likely suspect. But when Marcus comes to Sonia for help proving his innocence, everything she thought she was sure of is turned on its head. As Sonia and Marcus piece together what really happened the night Gretchen died, Sonia starts receiving threats from someone who might be the killer. With little clue who might be behind them, and time running short, Sonia will have to set aside growing feelings for Marcus and decide if she can trust him, or if she's already too late to save herself.
