The Great Montefiasco was the worst magician in the entire history of magic. His tricks were completely useless. They never worked and even when they looked as if they might, something always went wrong . . .
'He would make a chicken disappear in a cloud of smoke, but when he bent forward to take a bow, his hat would fall off and there was the chicken sitting on his head.
Or he would tap his wand on a magic box and say the spell to make a rabbit appear and nothing would happen. Bert the rabbit was stone deaf and never heard the spell, so he stayed curled up in the secret compartment.
This made everybody laugh, but it just made the Great Montefiasco miserable.'
