Tony and Sam are running away. Meeting on the edge of the vast Australian outback, both are escaping from very different backgrounds. Both are journeying to prove themselves. In the Opal Town the boys hit trouble - and are forced to work for cantankerous Bob Kelly, one of the oldest and toughest miners on the field.
