Comparing the various practices that measure and study crime throughout Europe, this study on victimization and insecurity surveys the successes and shortcomings of different practice zones in Europe. Combining data from the Netherlands, Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal, this useful collection provides valuable information for public policy and crime prevention. A better understanding of crime and its patterns throughout Europe is also made evident.
