Castle Diary

This is the medieval journal of Tobias Burgess, a young page. Sent to his uncle's castle to learn to be a page, eleven-year-old Toby keeps a detailed journal of everything that happens there during the year of 1285 - from such great events as a boar hunt and a tournament to more everyday activities like baking bread and cleaning out the garderobes (toilets).
