The fifth in a series of high-tech thrillers centred on Dreamland - a top-secret USAF weapons research centre.
The Dreamland find themselves on an action-packed chase through the South China Sea . . .
As Book Five opens, the Dreamland force has managed to halt a confrontation between India and China before it could escalate into a nuclear war. But an analysis of the radar data gathered during the battle shows that another robot plane - dubbed "the ghost clone" by Dreamland - was in the area at the time.
Fearing that a super-weapon is in an enemy's hands, Dreamland's commander Colonel Tecumseh "Dog" Bastian informs his superiors and personally briefs the President on the possible implications. Not only is it likely that a rival nation could soon unleash a fleet of robot super-fighters against the US, but it's very possible that the design was stolen from Dreamland.
