This is the story about a successful business woman who discovers what her life would have been like if she'd married her true love and settled into domestic bliss.
Pamela Drury is sunk in misery. Although she has a great career, she's working herself over because she feels she's missed the boat, as far as her personal life is concerned. Why, oh, why, she tearfully if foolishly asks herself, didn't she marry the bloke of her dreams 13 years ago? One stroke of movie magic later, she finds herself in the very patch of alternative universe in which she did indeed marry him and has two kids and a freelance writing job she tries to hold down between loads of washing. At first, she feels overwhelmed. But she no longer feels inadequate. . .
