A masterful, mythical tale of loss, love, redemption and survival.
Down in the lowlands, twins Iris and Floyd are living on society's fringes. They are short of work and have been shunned by their community, with a name so steeped in criminal deeds they cannot outrun their families past. With no work, money or friends they reluctantly decide to embark on a search for the puma who is killing people in the highlands. A bounty has been offered by the graziers and there have been several failed attempts to win it, including the famed Patagonian hunter who has now been missing for weeks. As they journey up into this wild, haunted country, they discover there's far more to the history, land and people of the highlands than they imagined. Confronted by hurdles they never imagined they're forced to reckon with conflicts both ancient and deeply personal.
