All aboard for the magical mystery tour!
When Iris Fox organised a mystery outing for a group of pensioners, she met with stiff opposition from the acting matron of the Cross and Passion Nursing Home. A "recipe for trouble" was how Sister Maureen Carmody saw it. And when the bus fails to stop at its first comfort break, it looks like she may have been right.
All Iris wanted to do was give the pensioners a good time but despite all her carefully laid plans, hijacking, dangerous crooks and stolen ambulances certainly weren't on her itinerary.
A pensioners' outing will never be the same again.
